The art world can be a difficult and puzzling environment if one is not familiar with its costums and criteria for evaluation. We are glad to be at your service for advice and consultancy regarding the sale, acquisition, conservation or display of Belgian works of art. Well connected with renowned international dealers and auction houses, we are happy to assist in the positioning of your important works by non-Belgian artists on the international market.

We feel strongly about the attempt to conserve and promote Belgian heritage. With a vast knowledge of the exceptional Belgian Schools, works of the highest quality are selected for our clients. Looking for that perfect addition? Let us know what you are looking for. We work closely with private collectors to ensure that works of particular interest can be acquired, thus building coherent, insightful and beautiful collections of the highest quality.

A feeling for art is as much a feeling for history as it is a feeling for beauty. To ensure our works are being seen in the light of their respective merits, each work is carefully researched and documented. We try to promote this academic view on art collecting to our clients as much as possible, and assist them in the process of documenting and researching their collections.

In a time when art as a narrative is highly contested in and through art itself, it is important to recognise the narrative of history. In our attempt to conserve and promote Belgian artistic heritage we strongly welcome every opportunity to co-operate on publications, catalogues and articles in our field. We encourage exhibition loans for works offered by the gallery, thus assisting public institutions to create interesting and insightful expositions.

When dealing with private collectors, both on a retail and on a consultancy basis, all efforts are put into envisioning their collections. Our work is one of collaboration, of joined forces in the attempt to construct narrative environments in which to display beautiful objects.

Private collections are more than the sum of their contents. They are the history of a family or of one man, the story of one painter or of a whole nation. In helping our clients to build meaningful collections, we also offer the service of documenting and cataloguing the extant collection. A stronger understanding of both the collection and the collector is formed in the process, where greater enjoyment and value creation go alongside the same path.
